Bio Written for Actor's Profile Page
I wrote this biography for Ryan Kelly, a talented Los Angeles-based actor. This bio was written to appear on his Ryan J. Kelly IMDb actor's page. We wanted to highlight the fact that he is a triple threat with his acting, singing and dancing abilities and named a few of his idols to show where his earlier influences came from especially Gene Kelly.
Bio for Creative Professional to showcase depth of experience
I wrote this bio for a client, Sandra Marshall, who needed a biography that she could post on a website that featured various artists. She wanted to emphasize the depth of her experience in art and communicate how art has been a lifelong passion of hers.
Inspired by a love of nature and extensive travels to
Europe, especially Italy, Arizona artist Sandra Marshall draws from a plethora
of stored mental images she has captured over the years. Most recently, Sandra
focuses on contemporary botanical paintings –creating sought-after works of art
that offer unique color combinations that are exquisitely rich and harmonious.
Early on, Sandra showed a talent and love of color and art
and always drew or painted -- receiving accolades from teachers and others who
saw her work. After studying color in a private art institute, she became
accomplished in a variety of media including oils, pastels, acrylic and mixed
media and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis
in Art Education/Painting. A New York native, Sandra is a master colorist and
attributes her passion to childhood memories of her mom, an accomplished
photographer and gardener, who Sandra remembers planting seeds in the cold of
the winter and the delight they received as they bloomed in the spring.
Sandra’s art background is extensive and includes owning a
portrait painting company in which she painted more than 1000 commissions in
oils and pastels, as well as becoming a prominent mural artist around the
country. She also worked as an art director for 3-Ball Productions in Hollywood
in addition to painting backdrops for the Disney Channel and working on set
designs. Before marrying and starting a family back in the states, Sandra studied
art in Italy, which led to co-creating an inventive company in Italy called
“Porta a Porta”, which means door to door in Italian. Sandra would bring
aspiring artists from the United States and fly them to Italy and while under
her instruction, the students would learn to paint as they were surrounded by
the stunning Tuscan Hillsides.
Sandra has used her combination of color mastery, painting
and teaching skills to design a career that has been immensely satisfying for
both herself and her clients. In addition to her works of art that she
continues to push the boundaries of color and beauty, Sandra volunteers in
schools with her successful “I Draw, You Draw program. Says Sandra,” My mind is constantly coming up
new designs and ideas of things to paint and I enjoy sharing that
enthusiasm with my students. The excitement of each new painting is like taking
a voyage to an unknown place –the anticipation, exploration and the journey ---
I can’t get enough!
Bio written for South Orange County Realtor
When Realtor Mona Ramstead's hired me to write her biography, I focused on her nurturing qualities and family background and history in real estate to tell her story. Mona uses this bio as part of a networking piece that helps others to get to know her beyond the typical "elevator pitch". She now gives out a sheet that has current trends in real estate on one side and her biography on the other and it has helped her to gain more exposure and get more clients..
Meet Mona—the Realtor Who Provides
Service with Heart
“My mom worked as a realtor and
other family members have been in the real estate industry for years so it’s
basically in my blood,” Mona shared.
While Mona
enjoys all aspects of working as a realtor, the part of the job she resonates
with the most is the building of relationships and working one on one with
clients to help them make their dreams come true.
“I love
that moment when my clients decide on a house and you can see the excitement in
their eyes,” Mona said. “I become emotionally invested with each and every
client and I understand what they are going through and live it with them. I enjoy
building a friendship and actually feel a bit sad after the transaction ends.”
It is
that kind of passion and caring nature that sets Mona apart from other
realtors—she provides service with heart and that comes from an authentic place.
She is passionate about being nurturing and responsive to her clients. They know
that she will truly listen to them and go above and beyond to get their
transaction done. Mona is flexible with her time and can work around busy
clients’ work and family schedules.
All this
and more makes her a natural fit for first-time buyers or experienced clients
who want a realtor who will make their real estate sale or purchase as pleasant
as possible.
Mona also
brings to the table innovative marketing strategies and excellent negotiation
skills. This combination of expertise and outstanding service is why Mona believes
her clients will continue to choose her when they buy and sell homes over the
years. Mona is committed to her clients as she is to her family—she’s been
married nearly 25 years and has five children, a granddaughter and a grandson
on the way.
Mona is a realtor with the Keller
Williams Realty and a team member of the Nikki Patnoe Group. If you are in the
market to buy or sell a home, consider giving this caring realtor a call. You
can reach Mona at (949) 632-089 or via e-mail at realtormona@hotmail.com. You can also

About Page and Mission Statement for Wellness Client
I was hired to freshen up a few website pages for Cassandra Lauduski, a Newport Beach-based Holistic Health Coach and Owner of Kasih Body and Soul. I wrote her About page and we worked on a Mission Statement together. For her marketing angle, we highlighted her many world travels for being a woman in her mid 20s and how she applies it to her work of helping women to be healthier and more peaceful. Here is the result:
ABOUT KASIH BODY AND SOUL
Imagine a safe
place where you can feel comfortable discussing your personal challenges and
delve deep into what is blocking you from reaching your true potential. Whether
it’s reducing stress, losing weight, eating healthier or raising your overall passion
for life, I can help you find your way to living a beautiful and energetic life
full of health and happiness.
My name is
Cassandra and I’m a Holistic Health Coach and Motivational Speaker. Unlike
other programs that tackle one specific area such as losing weight or starting
a workout program, I step back and look at you and your life as whole. I
partner with you to create a personalized program that focuses and balances the
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your life so you aren’t
just reaching one goal—you are transforming your life from the inside out.
My Background
My personal
mission is to search the world to discover what people are doing to reach their
highest potential of health and happiness! When I say “search” the world I
don’t mean the internet--I actually travel the world to learn from healers and
teachers from exotic places like Bali and New Zealand. My travels include working as a whole food
cook at a health retreat in Australia, teaching yoga in Malaysia, living in
ashrams studying yoga in India and living in Buddhist temples in Thailand. I
have also learned from some of the best traditional
healers here in America. These unique and life-changing experiences have
only continued to feed my ongoing desire to increase my knowledge and wisdom to
live a truly holistic lifestyle and share what I have learned with my clients.
I am a Certified
Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a Yoga and
Meditation Teacher. I most recently have been focusing on helping reduce the
stress and anxiety levels of my female clients through meditation, clean eating
and gentle exercises. To read more about
my approach to health wellness and some of the concepts I teach, please click here.
My Coaching Style
I provide
coaching by phone and in some cases in person. I also conduct regular wellness
workshops for women not only in Southern California but around the world. My
typical customer is a woman between the ages of 25-45 who wants to make some
positive changes but is usually bogged down with life and feels overwhelmed
with all the information available. Most likely she doesn’t know where to start.
I can provide clarity to that person and give her the tools, support and
inspiration she needs to finally meet her health and happiness goals. I hold her
accountable in a loving way, which ultimately leads her to becoming the highest
self she was meant to be. If that woman is you, I would love for us to get
started!

Business Blog for Social Media Client
I write a weekly business blog for one of my current clients based in Arizona, The Savvy Socialista. The owner Jami Lindberg helps other business owners with their marketing by creating websites, blogs, branding elements and everything involving social media. Here is a sample blog I wrote for her website and I'm happy to see these blogs have been generating some new traffic and genuine business interest.
Simple Steps to Setting Up a Facebook Business Page
Whether you are looking for Facebook page developers like us who can create and set up an eye-catching Facebook page for your business or you plan to do it yourself, this blog post is for you!
Here are some informative tips we found on a blog by hubspot.com:
Think of how you want to classify your business. Facebook provides six different classifications to choose from: Local business or place, artist or public figure, company or organization, entertainment, brand or product, cause or community. You will also provide location information and name of your company, and you have custom tabs available to organize your information.
Choose a photo for your profile page. The dimensions need to be 180 x 180x and that photo will appear in the little profile box whenever you make a post or comment on another page’s post. You also need to choose a larger photo for your header page—the dimensions for this prominent image is 851 x 315--be sure to make it impactful! Last, you are able to have custom Facebook app buttons which help your brand stay cohesive. Again, all of this imagery can be custom created by our Savvy Team!
Understand the Admin Panel. This is where you can add others to your admin panel that can comment on the Facebook posts for you and basically manage it if you would like. That is also where you will put more details about you and your business in the about section—much like what you would put on your website about section. Be sure to include a link to your website.
Prepare before promoting. Before you start publicizing your new business Facebook page to everyone—make sure you already have content on it and have thought about what you will be posting in weeks to come. Think about ways you can engage those who click on your page—contests to run, questions to ask, engaging photos to post. Try to get your built-in fans—friends, family, close contacts—to sign up for your page so it looks like you already have things going on before others (who don’t know you or your business well) check it out.
Start posting. You can use your Facebook page for product announcements, industry statistics, quotes, photos—make sure it is worth making a post otherwise you will get “unliked” quickly if your readers see no value in being a Facebook fan. Try to keep in mind the 75/25 rule: 25% of the content should be about you, your brand, your products/services and 75% should be other relative content. A Facebook Business Page doesn't always have to be about your business.
Track Progress—Facebook has a monitoring tool in your View Insights section on your Administrative Panel that can help you see what fans are responding to and help you make adjustments to your messages and branding if needed.
For a video tutorial of what I just outlined, click here for a blog post that contains the video at Hubspot. For some suggestions on how to set up a Facebook page that will get a lot of “likes”, check out this article from Forbes.com.
Creating a Facebook Business Page doesn’t have to be scary and we have Facebook page developers who can help you with all aspects of your Facebook presence. We also can make any number of business graphics for you that you can post on your Facebook Business Page and other social media platforms like Pinterest and Instagram.

Bios for Matchmaking Realtor and Master Networker
Need a bio or profile written for business purposes? Check out the bios below I wrote for two clients who needed to showcase their personality, business background and networking capabilities.
PROFILE #1--Christian Acosta, a newly appointed board president, needed a bio for their website profile page
Known for her high energy, sparkly personality and warm demeanor, Christian Acosta of Ahwatukee, was recently named president of the Arizona Power Networking Ahwatukee Chapter. Her background and personality traits make her a natural to lead this local networking group.
Christian’s strengths are many but she is especially proud of her passion for cultivating new business relationships, networking and promoting small business owners through signature events she plans throughout the year. Last year alone, Christian hosted several successful designer open house events at local vendors in which hundreds of community members mingled and shopped for unique gifts by small business owners in a welcoming and lively setting. Bringing people together is what Christian does best and she is excited about the year ahead as president of her local Arizona Power Networking chapter.

PROFILE #2 - Realtor Christine Benson needed a bio for her corporate real estate broker website profile page
